Match the camera angle

A front-facing target paired with an extreme profile reference creates ambiguity. Similar angles are usually more stable.

Keep the whole silhouette visible

The crown, sides, fringe and ends should fit in frame.

• No hat or large accessory
• No crop through the crown or ends
• Avoid hair merging into a busy background

Look for observable structure

Length, part, fringe, curl, volume and outline are useful. Vague labels such as “more flattering” are not a HairStyleSpec.

Confirm image rights
