HairWhatIf AIGC Use Policy and Acceptable Use Policy

This AIGC Use Policy and Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using HairWhatIf. It applies to the HairWhatIf website, Studio, uploaded images, hairstyle references, generated AI previews, downloads, feedback, account features, and support interactions.

You must follow this policy together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Core Rule

Use HairWhatIf only for lawful, adult, authorized, non-deceptive hairstyle decision previews.

You must not use HairWhatIf to harm, impersonate, deceive, exploit, identify, harass, or violate the rights of another person.

2. AI Model, AIGC Transparency, and Safety Disclosure

When generation is enabled, HairWhatIf currently uses GPT Image 2 through an OpenAI-compatible image-generation route. HairWhatIf is an independent product and does not market itself as an official OpenAI, GPT, or model-provider application.

HairWhatIf may send your uploaded photo, selected hairstyle, options, and system-controlled hairstyle instructions to that route only for the selected job. HairWhatIf does not allow users to choose an unreviewed model path or bypass the configured safety checks.

HairWhatIf runs safety and quality steps before and after AIGC generation, including upload validation, adult and image-rights consent, policy filtering, identity-preservation checks, hairstyle-locality checks, artifact checks, automatic review, platform review, and human review where needed before delivery.

3. Adults Only

HairWhatIf is for adults aged 18 or older.

You must not upload, submit, generate, request, or use content involving:

• a minor;
• a person who appears under 18;
• a person whose age is ambiguous;
• child sexual abuse material or exploitative content;
• school, child-model, family, or youth imagery where age is unclear; or
• any attempt to transform, sexualize, identify, or target a minor.

If HairWhatIf cannot reasonably determine that a depicted person is an adult, the content may be rejected.

4. Image Rights and Authorization

You may use only images that you own or are authorized to use for AI hairstyle processing.

Do not upload or submit:

• someone else's photo without permission;
• an image copied from social media without authorization;
• scraped, leaked, hacked, or stolen images;
• private images obtained through stalking, harassment, deception, or coercion;
• a photo subject to contractual, employment, platform, school, medical, or confidentiality restrictions that prohibit this use; or
• an image where required notice or consent has not been obtained.

You are responsible for proving that you have the rights and permissions needed for the images you submit.

5. No Impersonation or Identity Misuse

HairWhatIf must not be used for identity deception.

Do not use HairWhatIf to:

• impersonate another person;
• make it appear that someone had a haircut, style, endorsement, event, or relationship that did not happen;
• create fake profile, dating, employment, school, immigration, financial, or identity-verification material;
• mislead someone about a person's appearance, age, identity, consent, or affiliation;
• evade platform authenticity rules; or
• create evidence for fraud, harassment, blackmail, or coercion.

6. Public Figures and Celebrities

Do not use HairWhatIf to replicate, imitate, or exploit the identity of a public figure, celebrity, influencer, politician, performer, or private person without authorization.

This includes using a public figure as:

• a target photograph;
• a custom reference identity;
• an output identity goal;
• an endorsement or promotional claim; or
• a way to imply association with HairWhatIf or with you.

General hairstyle inspiration is allowed only when it does not replicate or misuse another person's identity and you have rights to any reference image you submit.

7. No Face Swapping or Identity Replacement

HairWhatIf is designed to preview hair, not to replace identity.

Do not attempt to:

• swap faces;
• transfer one person's face to another person;
• preserve a reference person's identity in the result;
• ask the model to make the target look like someone else;
• bypass identity-preservation checks;
• remove identity-safety limits; or
• use hairstyle settings as a disguised identity-replication request.

8. Prohibited Generation Content

HairWhatIf prohibits each of the following AIGC generation-content categories:

• sexual, sexually explicit, or NSFW content;
• violent, graphic, gore, blood, or injury content;
• hateful, discriminatory, or protected-class abusive content;
• child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, or any other child-unsafe content;
• deepfake, impersonation, identity deception, or unauthorized public-figure replication; and
• copyright, trademark, publicity-rights, brand, or other intellectual-property infringement.

Do not submit, generate, request, or use content that falls into any prohibited category.

9. Sexual, Abusive, or Exploitative Content

Do not submit, generate, request, or use content that is:

• sexually explicit;
• exploitative;
• non-consensual intimate imagery;
• harassment, humiliation, or bullying;
• hateful or discriminatory;
• threatening or violent;
• self-harm encouragement;
• abusive toward a protected class;
• used for stalking or doxxing;
• used to shame a person's appearance; or
• otherwise harmful or unlawful.

10. Illegal or Regulated Uses

Do not use HairWhatIf for:

• unlawful activity;
• fraud or payment abuse;
• identity verification or biometric identification;
• surveillance, profiling, or tracking;
• employment, credit, insurance, housing, education, immigration, healthcare, or legal eligibility decisions;
• law-enforcement or investigative identification;
• political deception or voter manipulation;
• generation of forged records or evidence; or
• bypassing sanctions, export, regional, age, or payment restrictions.

11. Technical Abuse

Do not interfere with HairWhatIf systems, providers, or users.

Prohibited technical conduct includes:

• probing, scanning, or testing security without authorization;
• bypassing authentication, authorization, RLS, storage, account, or payment controls;
• scraping pages, assets, routes, or API responses at scale;
• automating requests beyond documented or authorized limits;
• uploading malware or harmful files;
• overloading queues, generation workers, providers, or payment systems;
• reverse engineering non-public systems;
• tampering with signed URLs, object keys, owner tokens, cookies, or idempotency keys;
• submitting false webhooks or payment events;
• evading rate limits, bans, or feature flags; or
• using multiple accounts to bypass enforcement.

12. Provider, Safety, and Policy Evasion

You must not attempt to bypass HairWhatIf or provider safeguards.

Examples include:

• changing inputs to avoid a valid rejection while preserving the same prohibited goal;
• trying to provider-hop after a safety or policy rejection;
• removing safety marks or policy context;
• hiding prohibited content in filenames, metadata, masks, images, prompts, feedback, or support messages;
• asking support to manually deliver a rejected result;
• manipulating credit settlement or retries; or
• using external tools to reassemble content that HairWhatIf refused to deliver.

13. Payments and Account Abuse

Do not abuse payments, credits, refunds, disputes, or account systems.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• fraudulent purchases;
• stolen payment methods;
• false chargebacks;
• exploiting duplicate checkout or webhook events;
• reselling accounts or credits without permission;
• creating accounts to evade payment restrictions;
• transferring accounts in violation of these policies;
• abusing refunds, support, or goodwill credits; or
• using billing metadata for fraud.

14. Support and Feedback Rules

When contacting support or submitting feedback:

• be truthful;
• do not include sensitive images unless requested through an approved secure process;
• do not submit threats, harassment, spam, or illegal content;
• do not include another person's private information unless necessary and authorized; and
• do not ask support to bypass policy, safety, payment, or deletion rules.

15. Violation Handling and Enforcement

HairWhatIf reviews suspected violations through automated checks, platform review, human support review where needed, and payment or hosting evidence where relevant. HairWhatIf may enforce this policy by:

• blocking uploads;
• rejecting or deleting images;
• refusing to create, repair, or deliver a result;
• disabling downloads or result links;
• releasing or reversing credit reservations;
• suspending or terminating accounts;
• retaining limited records needed for enforcement, legal, security, or payment purposes;
• reporting unlawful content or conduct where appropriate; and
• taking other reasonable measures to protect users, third parties, providers, and HairWhatIf.

16. User Reporting and Platform Review

If you believe an image or result was submitted or generated without authorization, or if you believe HairWhatIf is being misused, contact HairWhatIf support at support@hairwhatif.com or the privacy/abuse contact listed in the Privacy Policy.

Provide enough detail for HairWhatIf's platform review to locate and evaluate the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive content. We may request additional information, remove content, restrict access, notify a payment platform, or report unlawful content where appropriate.
