The reference contributes hair structure

HairWhatIf uses observable length, part, fringe, texture, volume and silhouette from the reference. The reference person’s face, clothing and background are not transfer goals.

  • A local file you own or have permission to use

Match the camera angle

A front-facing photo pairs best with a front-facing or slight-angle reference. Large angle differences hide the hairline, sides or back and make the intended cut ambiguous.

Your photo stays the baseline

Your face, expression, skin tone, pose, clothing, background and framing come from your target photo. Hair is the intended edit region.

Custom preview follows the signed-in path

Reference upload requires sign-in and appears only when Studio exposes that option. A candidate still has to pass identity, locality and artifact checks before delivery.
